For Service to the Canton of Loch Ruadh

The Sable Comet of Ansteorra is given for service to a particular SCA Branch other than a barony. Baronies are excluded due to their own service orders such as the Azure Keystone of Elfsea. Bearing an Award of Arms the insignia is blazoned "(fieldless) a comet headed of a mullet of five greater and five lesser points fesswise reversed Sable".
